In terms of most durable to least durable, solid gold will wear the best, then gold-fill and then 18k vermeil. 18k vermeil will last a lot longer than a typical gold plated piece of jewelry.

Yes, 18k vermeil rings are suitable for everyday wear. However, it's important to note that, like any plated jewelry, the gold layer can wear off over time with frequent use. Taking proper care of your 18k vermeil rings will help maintain their appearance and longevity. We highly recommend not wearing them when washing your hands or in any other source of water and keeping them in a little plastic baggie or some other type of storage that isn’t in the open air to prevent tarnishing.

We offer a range of sizes to accommodate different preferences and finger sizes. Unfortunately, we cannot offer customization in sizing for our 18k vermeil rings outside of the sizes we offer online due to the nature of the gold plating.

To care for and clean your 18k vermeil rings, it's advisable to remove them before activities that may cause damage, such as swimming, showering, washing your hands or using harsh chemicals. Clean your rings gently using our foaming jewelry cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or materials that can scratch the surface. The least amount of contact with water and air when you’re not enjoying your pieces will increase the longevity of the 18k vermeil.

Yes, you can absolutely stack multiple 18k vermeil rings together for a trendy and stylish look. Mixing and matching different ring styles, gemstones and widths and stacking them on your fingers can create a personalized and unique statement. More is more when it comes to having fun with rings!

All of our 18k vermeil rings are nickel free ,which is one of the most common allergens. While 18k vermeil rings are generally considered safe for sensitive skin, it's essential to note that individual sensitivities can vary. If you have a known allergy to gold or base metals, it's advisable to consult with a dermatologist or try wearing a small piece of 18k vermeil jewelry for a short period to determine if any reaction occurs.  

We do not offer personalization or engraving on 18k vermeil rings due to the plating process that would remove the gold by using an engraver.  

While 18k vermeil rings are durable, they will still tarnish over time due to exposure to elements like moisture, air, and oils from the skin. However, proper care and maintenance can help minimize tarnishing.
