Materials

14k GOLD
14k gold offers an ideal balance of durability, color, and longevity, making it one of the most popular choices for engagement rings and wedding bands. Because it contains a higher percentage of alloy metals than 18k gold, it is slightly stronger and better suited for everyday wear. Available in yellow, white, and rose gold.

18k GOLD
18k gold has a higher pure gold content than 14k gold, giving it a richer color and slightly softer feel. It is often chosen for its warmer tone and more substantial gold presence, particularly in yellow and rose gold. While not quite as durable as 14k gold for daily wear, it offers a refined balance of luxury and longevity.

PLATINUM
Platinum is a naturally white metal known for its density, strength, and longevity. Unlike white gold, it does not require rhodium plating to maintain its color over time. While platinum is technically softer than white gold, it is more dense, meaning it does not wear away or lose metal over time. Instead, the surface shifts and develops a soft patina with wear.

White gold is slightly harder and more scratch resistant initially, but it can gradually lose material over time and requires periodic rhodium plating to maintain its bright white finish.

Platinum is also naturally hypoallergenic, making it an ideal choice for sensitive skin. It is often chosen for its weight, longevity, and low maintenance appeal.
